I was worried when we moved to Yulee about finding a new dentist after using the same dental practice in Ponte Vedra for the past 38 years.....My worries were put at ease when I found Lofton Creek Dental. My cleanings have been a breeze & most recently I had a crown replaced & Dr. Carey & her assistant couldn't have been any more gentle & comforting during my procedure. No lingering pain (as I've had during past crowns) The appointments were on time & work done very efficiently. Highly recommend Lofton Creek Dental!

I normally don’t do reviews, but this is the best dentist office I’ve ever been to. Dr. Carey is the best dentist I’ve ever had, she is so kind and gentle with everything! I’m a nervous person and she is so patient with having to stop if you need a break! The receptionists and assistants are all so kind and helpful! I have never been to a dental office with such amazing people!

The staff are all great here. They never try to upsell or make you do anything that is not necessary. I am a dental phobe. I will not trust anyone else with my teeth.

This was my many visits to This Dental Office “Lofton Creek”. The examination was very thorough and answered every question. They worked the cost of the procedure and the break down extremely well. Friendly staff, welcoming and good effort in explaining the details. I am satisfied with this Dental Office being my first visit. I hope to develop a good Doctor-Client relationship for the future. Had a follow up by Dr. Carey and was extremely professional and took her time to make sure everything was perfect. Could not ask for a better experience. The assistant T did a great job with the cleaning and a question about insurance and was great in general.

I had another absolutely fantastic experience at this office. Every staff member I came in to contact with was kind and courteous. Had my first cleaning today. The technician was awesome. She took her time and made sure I was comfortable throughout the cleaning. So glad I started going here! Five stars!!

I’ve been a patient at Lofton Creek for about seven years so I don’t give this review lightly. In the last year or so, the practice has become a revolving door. The techs all seem new and so is one of the dentists out of the two there. I needed a crown and had the temp work done two days ago. To make a long story short, my jaw looks like I was in a bar fight. I have 3-4 stitches in my cheek. The temporary doesn’t feel seated correctly and it’s too high, meaning my teeth don’t come together on the opposite side. I’ve had other crowns done (elsewhere) and never had these kinds of problems. I called today to have the permanent crown done by the other dentist. They insist I talk to the dentist that did the work first. Then, I can see the other dentist if I choose to do so. I shouldn’t be put in this situation. The impression I get is it’s the techs fault although no one has said that. At the time my mouth was too numb to know what was going on. I always liked Lofton Creek but I’ve lost confidence. I will update pending the final outcome. I received a generic response to my review. I'm guessing it's a canned AI response. So much for the personal attention to my specific concerns.... UPDATE: I have had my crown done by Dr. Apana. The crown that came based on the initial fitting by the other dentist/tech did not fit at all. Dr. Apana had to redo the work done by the other dentist and reorder a new crown. The new crown fit and I've had it for a few months now. It's excellent and I'm happy with it. I recommend Dr. Apana very highly.

The staff is very kind and patient. Dr Carey its very compassionate and helps calm your fears before treatment. She also explains things in a way that you can understand before they start your procedure. I would recommend them to everyone.

I am a new patient and was seen by Dr. Apana and she was great, she took her time and went over her recommendations complete with details, cost and she was excellent. Two days later I returned for a cleaning and received same excellent care from the hygienist. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

The whole staff is so nice and comforting. I am someone who does not do well with dental work and I have had 6 fillings completed without any pain or discomfort.
